Walking Safely to School in Wauwatosa [Infographic]

One out of every four elementary students in the Wauwatosa School District walks to school on a regular basis. In light of this and the start of the new school year, Groth Law Firm decided to pull together some data regarding the walking safety for our children. Using the 2013 surveys of Wauwatosa parents conducted by Safe Routes, as well as official city reports, we created the easy to digest infographic below.
The infographic shows some of the statistics of pedestrian accidents in Wauwatosa, offers safety tips, and provides contact information for the city administrator and crossing guard contractor. Please use this resource to educate your children about how to stay safe while walking to school.
